Bananas, caramelized with some brown sugar, and then churned into ice cream with cashew milk. Feel free to substitute cream or milk for even more yumminess!

Materials:

2 tablespoons brown butter
475 grams 16.75 ounces 4 bananas
78 grams 2.75 ounces 1/2 cup brown sugar
512 grams 18.125 ounces 2 cups milk I used cashew milk.
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Methods:

  1. Gather all materials.
  2. Cut bananas in half, lengthwise. Melt brown butter in a pan, and place sliced bananas into pan, cut side down. Add in brown sugar.
  3. Whisk into homogeneous mixture as bananas begin to fall apart.
  4. Mix in milk and vanilla. Refrigerate mixture.
  5. Freeze, following ice cream maker instructions.
