There's one purchase we've talked about for years. Yes, literally years. Buying a new bed. James purchased the bed we had back in 2004, right after he got out of college. It's been through literally more moves than I have fingers on one hand (and more than half the fingers on the other)! We could never justify paying for a new bed before. Various combinations of tuition, food, and rent took priority, mostly tuition. That and pregnancy, where no bed was comfortable :) Now, we finally got to a point where neither of us has tuition to pay, I've evicted the fetus, and we've saved up a little money. A few weeks ago, we found a bed we both liked and decided to splurge and get a king sized bed. They delivered it this week, and now we're loving all the space! I even have a nursing station set up in a corner of the bed, and the remaining space still feels so much larger than our previous bed!
