Let's just say the way this week has been, I'm just glad it's Friday! Between work equipment not working and getting sick and everything else, it's been quite a hectic week. And now to my Five Friday Finds for this week. (Images straight from the recipes and pinned on Pinterest.)
The Mighty Cheese Cracker - Delicious Days
I've made cheese crackers before, but adding chipotle sounds like it'd be a fun and tasty modification!
Turkey Italian Sausage, Mushroom, Marinara, and Ricotta Pasta Bake - For the Love of Cooking
With the temperatures cooling down, it's safe to use the oven again! This pasta bake's got all the food groups, making for an easy meal. :)
French Toast and Bacon Cupcakes - Mama B
Let's be honest now - who can resist bacon. And then you add in french toast and cupcakes?!?
Sweet Potato Crystallized Ginger Cookies - Poor Girl Gourmet
Crystallized ginger is one of my favorite eats. Combine it with the sweet potatoes finally showing up in the grocery stores, and you can make yourself some of these cookies! (No, sweet potatoes are not readily available year round here in yankeeland - and they consider themselves civilized?!)
Homemade Sweet Chili Sauce - From the Bookshelf
A simple and straightforward (just the way I like!) sweet chili sauce. Seems like it'd go well with just about anything! I think I might try it with some fish this weekend.
Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!

Why, thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally making the sauce tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteOooh, that chili sauce looks so good!
ReplyDeleteYour new site looks great, and I pinned those yummy looking bacon and french toast muffins too! Have a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I still have a lot to do (and learn!), but this site is coming along....slowly. :)
ReplyDeleteThose bacon and french toast cupcakes do look tasty!
I just made it, and not only does it look good, it tastes good too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I will have to check out the crackers and the cupcakes. I found the sweet chili sauce, too, but haven't make it yet. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! I just had the chili sauce with some fish for lunch, and it was quite tasty, but I think it would go well with just about anything!
ReplyDeleteThose bacon and french toast cupcakes - hello delicious! I have to try them!
ReplyDeleteLet me know how they turn out for you!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you don't have access to sweet potatoes year round! Make sure you cook, pure & freeze them -- at least that's what I would do :)
ReplyDeleteWell, let's just say they're way over priced except during the fall/winter! I was pretty surprised when they stopped stocking sweet potatoes the first year I moved here. I plan on stocking up when I finally get my hands on some!
