June's Top 5

Morsels of Life - June 2011's Top 5

Is it just me, or are the months just flying by for you too? I can't believe this year is already more than half over and it's July! On Morsels of Life, that means it's time for the monthly Top 5 list, so here's the top 5 most visited recipes in June! (Today also marks 3 years of magic sink!)

Cheddar Cheese Crackers - http://morselsoflife.blogspot.com/2011/06/cheddar-cheese-crackers.html
5. Cheddar Cheese Crackers - We're starting off the Top 5 with these crackers that have real cheddar cheese baked into each crispy bite. They're kinda like Cheez-Its, Cheese Nips, or even the childhood favorite, Goldfish. But better! Since they're homemade - and you just can't beat homemade!

4. Baked Teriyaki Beef "Kabobs" - Juicy chunks of beef, marinated in teriyaki sauce, then baked with fresh vegetables. Loaded with flavor and very versatile! (Picture from beckyhiggins.com, so they don't look exactly like mine, but I didn't take any of mine - they were eaten too fast! I'll try to do better next time. Promise.)

Caramelized Onion and Date Flatbread - http://morselsoflife.blogspot.com/2011/06/caramelized-onion-and-date-flatbread.html
3. Caramelized Onion and Date Flatbread - Sweet Medjool dates, baked with caramelized onions and rosemary on flatbread, topped with cheese. This flatbread is perfect for appetizers, snacks, and if you're like me, even meals! It's also a quick option that you can fool your friends into thinking took a long time. :)

Wheat Crackers - http://morselsoflife.blogspot.com/2011/06/wheat-crackers.html
2. Wheat Crackers - Delicious baked wheat snack crackers that you can make right at home! These crackers are similar to Wheat Thins, but better since they're homemade. Easier to make than the Cheddar Cheese Crackers, and based on your visits, more popular! :) After making these, I don't think I'd pay for Wheat Thins again.

and finally, the most visited recipe in June!
Bacon and Cheese Muffins - http://morselsoflife.blogspot.com/2011/06/bacon-and-cheese-muffins.html
1. Bacon and Cheese Muffins - Bacon and cheese together in muffin form? I'm not sure how anyone can resist! I know I couldn't, and it's #1, so I guess you couldn't either! :) I love muffins since they're so easy to eat on the go, and let's be honest here - I don't remember the last time I had a weekday breakfast that wasn't on the go! These muffins are perfectly portable, and they don't make your fingers sticky like sweet muffins will. A win on every front in my book!
