Morsels of Life

I've been meaning to write an "About Me" section for a while, but never got around to it. So...how this blog came to be. I started this blog a few months after starting my current job. My previous job had a 2 hour commute each way, and my current job has about a 20 minute commute. So, after getting settled, I had a bit more free time and thought I would start a blog and see how that went. Very quickly, I found that I was posting about food and recipes on a nearly daily basis, so I decided to turn it into a food blog!

My cooking philosophy is pretty simple and straightforward - I like using everyday materials and easy to prepare (aka lazy aka efficient) methods. Maybe it's the engineer in me, but I'm a fan of efficiency, as those of you who know me can confirm. I don't use exact measurements when cooking, but I list them here as a way to get an idea of how much I used. Generally, if you like something, use more; if you dislike something, use less, substitute something else, or just eliminate it altogether. You'll probably be fine. :)

So now, with this food blog, not only do I get to share some morsels of life, but I've also got a searchable recipe file online! Why don't you make yourself a cup of tea, sit back, and relax while you browse my recipe collection?

Don't forget to subscribe via email and subscribe via RSS so you won't miss a thing! You can also contact me at morsels.of.life@gmail.com or by leaving a comment. Hope you enjoy!
