Five Friday Finds #180

Morsels of Life - 5 Friday Finds

Bobert's starting to eat solids, so I'm making him a few bibs. I wanted ones where they don't look like you're about to have a meal since he's a drooler too. :) The bandana ones look nice, and they have a double layer - hopefully he won't soak through all the layers! I wanted some binding to match, so I used the scraps, made a bias tape maker, and hopefully enough binding. We'll see soon enough. :)

Hope you enjoy these Five Friday Finds! And please link up your recipes below. You might even get featured! :) (Images come from the recipes and are pinned on Pinterest.)

Starting off with the most popular!

Lemon Gooey Bars

Lemon bars are one of my favorites, and it looks like it's one of yours too! :)

And continuing with the featured recipes!

Bacon Wrapped Appetizers

I'm really interested to try the bacon wrapped prunes with organ meat! Especially after all the research I've been doing. :)

Skillet Cornbread

Gotta love a good skillet cornbread!

Cheesy Chicken Roll-ups

Just look at that cheesy goodness!

Berry Smoothie

Berries are starting to come into season, so why not make a smoothie? :)

Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!

  1. CJ, the features look wonderful- I want all of them! :) I can't wait to see baby Robert's bibs- you made a bias binding maker and the bias binding? I have never attempted to make binding, much less the binding maker. The funny thing is, I am not impressed with binding you can purchase...so I just generally avoid projects that involve bias binding. I know- crazy. That leaves a lot of projects out!

So I got off the track...thank you for the party! :)

  9. I just made a little more progress on Bobert's bibs, and fortunately, the scraps made enough binding! :) I wanted the binding to have some of the pattern from the bib, but all I can ever find in stores is just solids. The binding isn't hard to make, but the binding maker makes it a lot faster. (And don't be too impressed with the binding maker - it's just a few pieces of cardboard stuck together.) :)

Thanks for always stopping by and sharing your recipes!
