Five Friday Finds #175

Morsels of Life - 5 Friday Finds

We've had quite a bit of snow (at least by North Carolinan standards) these past weeks, and it makes me think of how much of a difference there is in the amount of difference it causes. For example, most kids get really excited at a snow day; some working folks are excited at a day off, but others are concerned about how much work they'll have to make up; folks who work at home may experience very little difference or they might have to deal with a full house.

Hope you enjoy these Five Friday Finds! And please link up your recipes below. You might even get featured! :) (Images come from the recipes and are pinned on Pinterest.)

Starting off with the most popular!

Chocolate Macaroon Pie

Just look at that - no wonder it was most popular! :)

And continuing with the featured recipes!

Italian Bread Bowls

Bread bowls have been on my list for a while now. Maybe it's time I conquer them!

Mom's Sloppy Joes with Chicken Gumbo Soup

We definitely like Sloppy Joes, and you know how they say Mom makes the best meals!

Chili Mac Casserole

Yum yum! Looks like the perfect food on a cold day!

No-Knead Oatmeal Bread

I love a good loaf of bread, especially a yeast bread, and no knead definitely works for me! :)

Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!

  2. Thank you for the party, CJ! I love the picture of your snow. We are getting unusual amounts, too (Texas), so it's quite the novelty for those of us in these more southern and coastal states! :) Your features are beautiful- I think I had actually already pinned all of them, but I'm going to make sure- they're all keepers! :) Happy Friday!

  5. CJ,
Thanks for hosting the party every week. Sorry that I don't have anything to bring this week but I hope to have something next week. BTW - my Meyer Lemon tree is in a pot in my garage. I'm in the northern suburbs of NYC and it wouldn't last the winters outside, so I bring it in until it's warm enough to put it out in the summer.

  8. Snow's pretty to look at, but not so fun when it shuts everything down :) Thanks for sharing with us!
