Five Friday Finds #124

Morsels of Life - 5 Friday Finds

We did the Krispy Kreme Challenge this weekend. We've wanted to do this run for a few years now, but since we lived in PA, it didn't make sense to come down for a few hours. Since we're in NC now, we decided to go ahead and see what it's all about! For those of you who don't know, you basically run 2.5 miles from the NCSU bell tower to Krispy Kreme, eat a dozen doughnuts, and then run the 2.5 miles back. We did it as casual runners, so we weren't required to eat the dozen doughnuts before turning around and running back. I think it's a lot more fun that way. :P The fastest person ran the entire thing and ate the dozen doughnuts in about 30 minutes - pretty impressive! Since we have all these doughnuts, I'm thinking Luther Burgers!

Hope you enjoy these Five Friday Finds! (Images come from the recipes and are pinned on Pinterest.)

Crab Rangoon

We like crab rangoons, and this method's a lot easier than my usual. :)

No-Knead Dutch Oven Bread

I've wanted to make bread in my dutch oven for a while now, and I'm thinking this no-knead recipe's easy enough for a beginner!

Afghani Style Kebabs

James often mentions how tasty the food in Afghanistan was, so I'm thinking he'll like these kebabs at home!

Smoky BBQ Sauce

We recently bought a bunch of pork on sale since I wanted to make some pulled pork, and I'm thinking this sauce will be just wonderful. :)

Skillet Baked Eggs with Potatoes Pesto and Sun Dried Tomatoes

We often eat eggs for breakfast, and we're both fans of pesto and sun dried tomatoes, so I'm thinking this recipe's got to be a win!

Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!
