Morsels of Life - 5 Friday Finds

This week, one of the people I work with came back from Japan and brought everyone at work some treats! I got to try some passion fruit Kit-Kats. They tasted so much better than any Kit-Kats I've ever had stateside. In fact, they easily made my list of favorite candies, and I don't even like white chocolate! Why don't we get such tasty treats stateside?! (Well, unless you want to pay $20 for a pack on Amazon!)

Hope you enjoy these Five Friday Finds! (Images come from the recipes and are pinned on Pinterest.)

Cornbread Pancakes

We like cornbread and we like pancakes, so why not combine the two? :)

Dumpling Wrappers

I guess you could say it's something on my "bucket list." I've always wanted to make dumpling wrappers from scratch, and now I've got a recipe to try!

Sweet and Sticky Cashew Tofu

This tofu actually makes me want to eat it off the screen!

Caramel Swirl Hunks

A bar with chocolate chunks and swirls of caramel? I'm in!

Mini Tin Can Cake

This unique mini cake just looks like fun! It's also a great way to make a mini layer cake. :)

Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!

I love British digestives, especially the chocolate covered ones. You can find a few brands here, but none are quite as good as the ones I ate in Britain.

  2. Great finds, CJ. Of course I want to try them except the tofu one. Well, wait a minute, that photo even makes tufo look good. I may have to reconsider. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week.

  3. Isn't it interesting how the same things aren't quite the same in different locations? :)
