Ah, the avocado - a fruit towards which I had been indifferent until recently! I've never disliked avocados, provided they were prepared the right way - more specifically, in a zesty guacamole.
My mom and dad recently went in a bit of a health food craze, and whenever I'm home, I'll see them, at least once or twice, eating a plain avocado as if it were the finest thing in the world. After trying a bite, I wasn't impressed, but with recent sales, I've decided to give avocados a second chance. Before I knew it, avocados had grown on me, and I couldn't seem to buy enough to sate my (or James') maddening cravings for this soft, creamy green fruit. I decided to try a new direction, and found this fantastic recipe for avocado fries. Give it a try and see what you think!
