Five Friday Finds #32

Morsels of Life - 5 Friday Finds

This week just seemed a bit...odd - so long in some ways, and yet so short in others. Maybe it had something to do with Valentines Day (originally no plans, but then went to super romantic Qdoba :P), James going through finals week (and getting half the week off!), and finishing up federal taxes (refund will pay for about a half quarter's tuition!). I'm not really sure, but I do know I'm looking forward to this weekend (although they're predicting snow again). How do you go from decent winter weather to snow the next day?! (Yes, I know I'm a spoiled Southerner. :P)

Hope you enjoy these Five Friday Finds! (Images straight from the recipes and pinned on Pinterest.)

Don't these chocolate cookies look so fun? I'm loving how she makes them look much fancier without too much effort!

With the snow predicted, I'm thinking about making some chili, and what would be better than some multi-tasking chili?

I'll admit, this one looked like an odd combination to me at first, but thinking about it more, I kinda want to try it! Plus, it'll be great for all those winter sniffles.

I'm starting to see Girl Scouts out now, but what about the rest of the year? Thin mints are my favorite. Samoas come in second. What's your favorite Girl Scout cookie?

Sesame Chicken's one of my favorites, but sometimes I just don't want to go through all the trouble. This slow cooker Sesame Chicken comes to the rescue!

Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!

  2. Those chocolate cookies caught my eye too! I love Thin Mints, although Trefoils are probably my second favorite.

  3. Aren't they so tasty!? I haven't heard of Trefoils before, but I'll have to keep an eye out for them this year!
