Five Friday Finds #27

Morsels of Life - 5 Friday Finds

It's Friday - w00t! We played a bit of catch-up this week since we got off schedule during Christmas/New Years. (Seems so long ago, yet so recent.) We also took advantage of the warmer weather and our new drive up ramps and changed the oil in our cars. It's one of those things that's really easy, but just takes a while. Hopefully by the time we need to change the oil again, it'll be warmed up again. :P What about you? Are you still getting back into the swing of things?

Hope you enjoy these Five Friday Finds! (Images straight from the recipes and pinned on Pinterest.)

Never Fail Cranberry Scones - Strawberry Roan

I've got a bag of cranberries, and these scones sound like a great way to use them. Plus, I've been wanting to make scones for a while, and the "never fail" doesn't hurt either!

Cranberry Almond Oatmeal - Gluten Free Pantry

I'm on a bit of a cranberry kick, and mixing them in with oatmeal sounds like a splendid idea. I especially like how she added coconut sugar and vanilla to the mix!

Chicken and Dumplings - Miz Helen's Country Cottage

You know how Chicken and Dumplings just brings comfort and warmth? Luckily, we've got a simple and tasty recipe for Chicken and Dumplings here!

Ginger Beer - Crumpets and Cakes

I've made ginger ale before, but never ginger beer. Fortunately, this ginger beer looks easy enough! Maybe letting it ferment longer would make alcoholic ginger beer?

Skinny Chocolate Chip Buttermilk Scones - Skinny Taste

You've just made a resolution to eat healthy, but you still want to eat treats. How about some of these "skinny" scones for breakfast? They've even got chocolate in them!

Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!

Your not the first one I've seen post those chocolate chip scones. I'm going to have to give them a second look. I've never made scone, so I'm a little leery to try them, Have a great weekend! :)
