This week's been a bit of getting back to the "usual." After hosting Thanksgiving and exploring/walking around Philly all day, I can definitely use the slower pace this week! Unfortunately, with the end of Thanksgiving weekend, it's also the end of ultra super tasty mama's cooking (and some of dad's too). :( We didn't go traditional American Thanksgiving, but it sure was tasty! Smoked duck, pulled pork, bulgogi, kalbi, hand pulled noodles....the list goes on and on. I know I was constantly stuffed - always with tasty eats! But it's December now, so I'm sure I'll have many more tasty eats in about 3 weeks. :)
Hope you enjoy these Five Friday Finds! (Images straight from the recipes and pinned on Pinterest.)
Chai-Spiced Mixed Nuts - The Kitchen is My Playground
Chai is one of my favorite flavors, and maybe it's one of yours too? I know my Chai Tea recipe gets a lot of visits, and I think these Chai flavored mixed nuts would go quite splendidly.
Dduk Bok-ki - The Delicious Life
We had some leftovers after eating bulgogi and kalbi, and Dduk Guk is my favorite Korean food, so I thought we'd try some Dduk Bok Ki. They're pretty different, but both use rice cakes!
Cardamom Roasted Tomato Pasta - Inspired Taste
After all those delicious Thanksgiving weekend eats, I think we need something a bit lighter. I've also never eaten pasta with cardamom, so I figured this recipe'd be a good place to start. :)
Sweet Potato Cranberry & Dark Chocolate Bread - Finding Joy in My Kitchen
Dark Chocolate. Need I say more? And with cranberries and sweet potatoes? I'm in!
Mujadara (Lentils, Rice and Caramelized Onions) - Mostly Food and Crafts
After all the (relatively) complex foods of Thanksgiving, I'm ready for something simpler! This Mujadara looks tasty and healthy too.
Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!
