Five Friday Finds #19

Morsels of Life - 5 Friday Finds

It's been a busy week going to ISPPP this week, but it was fun, and I learned a lot. I even got to stop by a Bojangles on the way back! This week, I'll have a bit of a Halloween theme going on since Halloween is Monday. We've only gotten one trick or treater here, but I've been hearing a lot of kids around lately, so maybe this year will be different. Do you usually get many trick or treaters?

Hope you enjoy these Five Friday Finds! (Images straight from the recipes and pinned on Pinterest.)

Witches’ Digits
Witches’ Digits - Shockingly Delicious

Yep, these cookies seems to be making the rounds, so I thought I'd include them here. They seem simple and fun for kids to make too.

Frankencrispies
Frankencrispies - The Sweet Swiper

How can you resist this cute, tasty Frankenstein?

Bloody Eyeballs
Bloody Eyeballs - Canary Girl

Onto grosser looking foods - ever eaten bloody eyeballs?

Jell-O
Jell-O "Blood" Worms - The Idea Room

And grosser looking foods still - I bet some kids would like eating and playing with these worms.

Biohazard Blood Slides
Biohazard Blood Slides - Forkable

Anyone watch Dexter? Biohazards are way scarier than ghouls and goblins!

Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!

  1. I am SO ready for Halloween to be over. I'm so tired of all this gross-looking food! :)

How cool! Me and my daughter are making the witches fingers tonight. Thanks for the great idea and have a great weekend. :)

  3. Halloween is the best holiday to get to "play" with food. We used to have a Halloween dinner where I worked, and some of these ideas would have fit right in. I just may make the Witch's Digits myself. Thanks for sharing.
