Five Friday Finds #18

Morsels of Life - 5 Friday Finds

It's been a long and busy week trying to get everything finished and ready before I head off to Alexandria for ISPPP this weekend! Somewhere in there, I also managed to get a very preliminary Morsels of Life Facebook page set up. (Yay for productive procrastination. :P) I've got a link to the Facebook page on the right, under "Subscribes and Follows." If you could click on the Like button there too, it'd be great! (If you're reading from a reader or email, you'll have to click through to the actual site.) And finally, let me know if you've got restaurant recommendations in the DC/Alexandria area since I'll be there most of next week. :)

Hope you enjoy these Five Friday Finds! (Images straight from the recipes and pinned on Pinterest.)

Sweet Potato Wedges with Sesame-Soy Dipping Sauce
Sweet Potato Wedges with Sesame-Soy Dipping Sauce - The Cooking Rookie

I had some sweetly savory sweet potato fries once at a restaurant, and these look pretty close. Good thing I have a bag just waiting to be used!

Bacon Cups
Bacon Cups - Not Martha

Bacon! What more need I say? Another fun breakfast/brunch option!

Homemade Samoas Cookies
Homemade Samoas Cookies - Bakers Royale

No need to wait around and spend all your money on Girl Scout cookies - now you can make them at home anytime!

Chicken Gyros
Chicken Gyros - My Heart's Desire

I've never made a gyro at home, but now maybe I'll give them a try!

Orange Dark Chocolate and Coconut Pieces
Orange Dark Chocolate and Coconut Pieces - With Style and Grace

These chocolate cups look so good! I'm thinking I might try raspberry or vanilla instead of orange though.

Hope you all have a fun and delicious weekend!
